This fragrance holds its own against the original. I like the profile but it does not last long. I sprayed on my skin directly, allowed it air out and it lasts about 30 minutes on my skin fresh from the shower, and after 3 more sprays in between layering creams and oils.
On clothes, it's a different story. I sprayed the inside of my clothes and my house gown after getting out of the shower. The clothes sat an hour or so before I put them on and I re-sprayed 3 more times. On clothes it last about 4 hours total in full bloom and mellows out to a very pretty powdery scent that holds the base notes lightly. As I type this, I'm smelling my house gown and it's the next day, about 15 hours after the last spraying.
Given the original is not in production, this is a fine substitute and I would recommend it, even if it's just to have the 1st whiff of the spray to rekindle your OG memory. This does that and I'm glad I purchased. Other fragrances are in my cart and I will try them all.

Ich bin ein Riesen Fan von Marc Jacobs decadence gewesen, leider wurde es aus dem Programm genommen. Glücklicherweise sind eure Inhaltsstoffe fast genau so, und dazu auch noch sehr preiswert.

Smelled almost identical to my original, maybe a little bit lighter/sweeter but that isn’t an issue for me at all. I suspect it isn’t as long-lasting, but at this price point, reapplication isn’t really an issue. I purchased this as a backup since the original is discontinued, and this will do the job!
