Glass bottle
In these containers you will make and preserve the artisanal Fragrance you prepare. It is important that it is glass, as it will keep the aroma longer. Also, do not forget to make sure the glass bottle is large enough to hold all the Fragrance you are going to prepare.
96% alcohol
This is concentrated alcohol that you can easily find in any pharmacy in your city. - In the glass bottle you should place the alcohol. The amount of alcohol should be 70% of the total Fragrance you want to prepare. For example, if you want to make 100 ml of Fragrance, then you will have to use 70 ml of alcohol. If you want to make a cologne, do not forget to mix the alcohol with water (distilled or demineralized) before pouring it into the bottle.
- Then, you will have to add the oils or natural essences, which will be responsible for giving your Fragrance a fresh aroma. It is recommended to add an amount equivalent to 30% of the total Fragrance you want to make. For example, if you want to make 100 ml of Fragrance, you will have to add 30 ml of natural essences. - Optionally, you can add a drop of dimethicone and liquid dye for every 100 ml of Fragrance you are going to prepare. This way, you will give your Fragrance a special touch.
- The next step will be to close the glass bottle and mix the ingredients well to let everything macerate for approximately one week. You will have to place the bottle in a cool place where it does not get sunlight, as this will ensure the aroma is absorbed and intensified.
