Night serum with retinol

The Retinol Night Serum from divain Care is a nighttime serum with 0.2% vegan encapsulated retinol, designed for skin looking to start with this ingredient or for those with sensitive skin.
Vegan encapsulated retinol supports the renewal of the skin's appearance overnight. Vitamin C at 0.5% adds radiance. High molecular weight hyaluronic acid helps keep skin hydrated until morning. Encapsulation allows for gradual retinol release, making it suitable for skin just starting out with this ingredient.
Use this serum at night only. Cleanse your skin thoroughly before applying. Apply 3–4 drops to dry skin and spread gently. Let it absorb before applying your night cream. In the morning, always use sunscreen, as retinol makes skin more sensitive to sunlight. Start with 2–3 nights per week and increase frequency based on how your skin responds.
Vegan Encapsulated Retinol (0.2%): supports skin appearance renewal with gradual release. Vitamin C (0.5%): antioxidant that adds radiance. High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid: retains moisture and helps skin feel soft and comfortable through the night.
In the morning, use Vitamin C+E Day Moisturize as your moisturiser and always finish with Vitamin E Sunscreen SPF50+. If your skin is very dry, apply the Aqua Booster first for extra overnight hydration.
It depends on your skin. Starting with 2–3 nights per week is common. As your skin adjusts, you can gradually increase frequency. If you notice redness or flaking, reduce applications.
Avoid using it on the same night as exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA) or pure vitamin C at high concentrations. The Retinol Night Serum already contains encapsulated vitamin C at a low concentration, so that combination is already formulated to be safe.
Retinol works gradually. Changes in skin appearance are typically noticeable after 8–12 weeks of regular use. Initial effects are often a smoother texture.
Retinol has no specific minimum cosmetic age, but it is usually incorporated into routines from the age of 25–30. At this serum's concentration (0.2%), it is suitable for those just starting out.
Apply the serum to clean, dry skin at night before your moisturizer. Avoid the eye contour and eyelid area. It is important to apply sunscreen during the day due to the skin's sensitivity to retinol.
To use the Retinol Night Serum, especially if you have sensitive skin, start by applying it on alternate nights and use only a small amount. Gradually increase the frequency according to your skin's tolerance. Make sure to moisturize well after the serum and use sunscreen during the day, as retinol can increase sun sensitivity. Avoid combining it with other exfoliating acids or irritating products such as alcohol and strong fragrances.
In your routine: Apply it during the night treatment step of your skincare routine, after cleansing and toner, but before the moisturizer.
