Candle
Citrusy, green and with a log-fire warmth.
Open, light, cover.

Open
Take off the lid and keep it close: you'll use it to put the flame out, too.

Light it at the base
Hold the flame to the base of the wooden wick until it catches.

Let it melt
The first time, until a pool of wax forms across the whole surface. That way it won't tunnel.

Cover and trim
Never more than 2 hours at a time. Put it out by covering the tin, and always trim the wick before lighting it again.
LimeBasilMandarinWhat does it smell like?
divain. scented candle with lime, basil and mandarin: citrusy, green, with a touch of sweetness. Your home smells like summer even when it's raining outside.
It has a double wooden wick, two thin strips of natural wood joined together: it burns with a wide, low flame and crackles softly, like a small fireplace. Rapeseed and coconut vegetable wax in a matte black tin with a lid, for keeping it covered between uses and for putting it out.
- 32 hours of burn time
- 92 g of candle
- Scents 10 m²: a small room or bathroom
First light: let the whole surface melt before putting it out, until there's a pool of wax from edge to edge. That way it won't tunnel.
Wick care: always trim the wick to 3–5 mm before relighting.
Safety: never leave it burning unattended or for more than 2 hours at a time. Keep it away from fabrics and out of reach of children and pets. Never in a draught. Place it on a heat-resistant surface. The tin gets hot while it burns: wait for it to cool before touching it or putting the lid on.

Before you light it.
First burn
The first time, let the entire surface melt before putting it out, until a pool of wax forms from edge to edge. That's how you avoid tunnelling.
Wooden wicks take a few seconds longer to catch: hold the flame to the base of the wick, not just the tip.
Wick care
Always trim the wick before lighting it again: to 3–5 mm, removing the burnt part with your fingers or nail clippers. If the flame is very low, the wick is too short or the wax hasn't melted: let it burn a little longer.
Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended or let it burn for more than 2 hours at a time. Keep it away from fabrics and out of reach of children and pets. Never in a draught. On a heat-resistant surface. The tin gets hot while it burns: wait for it to cool before touching or covering it.
