Marilena S. Unfortunately I had great expectations about this one.. Although it quite resembles the iconic "red cap", the scent fades really quickly transforming to something completely different.
It doesn't last long at all and after about an hour it feels like I am wearing no perfume at all. Also very expensive shipping to Greece.

Charles B. As someone who isn’t a perfume expert but does have a deep fondness for the original Dolce & Gabbana (the pre-reformulation masterpiece), I went into Divain 98 with realistic expectations. To my surprise, it’s actually a very enjoyable scent — but it’s also unmistakably its own thing.
The opening has a slightly more cologne-leaning character than the original, which, as a man, I actually appreciate. There’s a rich burst of florals that immediately reminded me of the classic DNA, but the composition takes a different path. The resemblance is there, but it’s more of a nod than a faithful recreation.
Where Divain 98 really shines is in its projection and sillage — genuinely impressive for the price point. It creates a lovely aura around you and gets noticed. Longevity is decent, lasting a few hours, though nowhere near the endurance of the vintage Dolce & Gabbana. But considering the original is essentially extinct and impossible to find in its true form, I respect the effort here.
Overall, Divain 98 feels like a modern tribute to a fragrance many of us miss. It's not a clone, and it never quite becomes the original — but it’s pleasant, wearable, and a solid value for anyone nostalgic for that long-lost scent.

Gigi This was one of my favorite parfums ever. It’s the D&G leopard bottle, which is an iconic 90s perfume. If you let it mascerate for a few months it will be the exact same! I’m ordering 2 more!

Sue Dolce & Gabbana in the red velvet box was my favourite perfume ever. It was my signature and everyone would comment on it. I guess it suited me. I was devastated when it was discontinued!!! I tried perfume shops to find similar, tried FM fragrances, but nothing. Happened across this site and ordered 098 woman. It is exactly the same. Thank you so much, I love it Divain!!!

Carine M. Time between moment of ordering and moment of delivery: 5 days. I live in Belgium and when I tried to pass an order on the Dutch Divain site, I didn't find the option to have it delivered in Belgium. I asked for information by mail and promptly received mails from the French site, from where Belgian customers can obtain delivery. So glad. Perfume was neatly delivered in a well sealed box, together with the other perfumes I had ordered and for each ordered perfume, a sample so that you can try it before deciding whether or not to keep the large bottle. As for the perfume itself, it's Dolce Gabbana red cap entirely at the opening. It's the aldehydes that make this perfume so unique. In the cooling down, it becomes softer than the original version, slightly sweater, slightly creamier, more feminine than the rather harsh original. Sillage is very good. Since it's an intense perfume, one has to take care not to overspray. Longevity is good also, not to the same extent as the original, but I do find it satisfactory. I wouldn't describe this as an evening or sexy scent, for when you go out, I'd rather describe it as a distinguished scent for formal occasions and for work. All in all, a well deserved 5 star rated experience, both for the perfume itself, as for the service of Divain Perfume France. Thank you.
