I own Gypsy Water, and you really cannot tell the difference. It's a shame it doesn't last long enough. You need to reapply multiple times per day.

Soft, airy and comforting. This fragrance feels more like a mood than a perfume. Light woods, gentle vanilla and a slightly smoky softness create a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. Excellent for home, evenings and even dancing because it stays smooth and non-intrusive.

Like Divain 297 (see my review), Number 245 is a beautiful scent - herbal, aromatic, and balsamic - but is another that is weak in sillage and longevity for this version of Gypsy Water by Byredo. I heard the original is also very light, but this 245 may be even lighter than 297. GREAT for the office if you don't want to offend your neighbors, but if you want to make a statement. . . this ain't it.

I was really surprised because this perfume smells EXACTLY like Gypsy Water. I had the original on one wrist and Divain on the other — and the scents were indistinguishable. What’s more, the original lasted around 3 hours on my skin, while Divain stayed for about 4. It’s not super long-lasting, but still better than the original. I also really like the new packaging! :)

Apenas lo olí tuve mis dudas porque sentia que tenia un olor mas herbal, pero a medida que fue pasando el rato su esencia cambio un poco , para bien a mi parecer, ahora mismo estoy encantada y me dura unas 4hs el olor!

Fue oler esta colonia y recordar a mi padre cuando yo era pequeña. Es verle en el baño echándose de las pocas colonias frescas que había entonces. No recuerdo su nombre. Para mi memoria, nada nuevo.

A really good interpretation, doesn’t last long, but then neither does the original. However it is fresh and the pine notes make it good for autumn and for spring. Good for the office or immediately post gym- which you can then spray again later or change to something different and stronger- like silver mountain water. Sometimes things are designed to be fleeting, at this size and price, carry it with you, spray often!

Essayé en été ma peau étant très chaude mon nez ne sentait rien par contre on me complimentait souvent, remis en hiver mon nez le sentait bien mieux je le trouvais surtout poudré/fumé, venant de tester le black afghano ils se ressemblent sur ma peau le Byr a un départ beaucoup plus frais avec agrumes le Naso est plus plat mais beaucoup plus persistant avec une longévité double...

Divain, yall did it again. Side by side smell test I can not tell the difference once sprayed both OG and Divain on my skin. Divain longevity is longer than the OG, and the sales price is the real bondifide draw. Who doesn't enjoy saving money? I'm never paying full price on perfume again.
